BIOGRAPHY

"Tell it like it is. Tell stories the way they're meant to be told- without censorship. That's why I write songs- to be able to say whatever I need, whatever I feel- whatever I wish I could say to someone's face."

Combine the narrative story telling of Taylor Swift with Alanis Morrissette's pointed lyrics and Paramore's rock sound, and you'll find yourself listening to Rachel. Now located in Nashville, TN, she is actively writing and performing in the local scene as well as recording her debut EP.

Alongside iconic Nashville venues, Rachel has also played several venues, fairs, and festivals throughout New England and the Midwest. The hundreds of songs that she has penned reflect a style of writing that encompasses pop and rock in a way that is raw and unfiltered. In addition to being a singer songwriter and performer, she is a trained musician with a degree from Berklee College of Music.

“To be that vulnerable is beautiful. Music has the power to make people feel vulnerable, and for them to be comfortable sharing that side of themselves with me is beautiful. Music has made it possible for me to share my story.”- Rachel DeeLynn
